Founded in 1973, Shanghai Centre for Scientific and Technological
Exchange with Foreign Countries (SSTEC) is a non-profit organization
mainly involved in international scientific and technological cooperation
and exchanges under the leadership of Science and Technology Commission
of Shanghai Municipality.
SSTEC, through varieties of forms, is committed to organizing and
promoting cooperation between the local organizations and individuals
and their overseas counterparts in the communities of science and
technology, economy and trade, with the aim of enhancing science
and technology progress, social and economic development of Shanghai
as well as facilitating friendly cooperation within China and with
people from the whole world.

exchanges and cooperation with partners from more than 50 countries
and regions in the world.
SHANGHAI INT TECH MERCHANTS SERVICE CORP is a solely funded company
established by SSTEC, which is mainly involved in attracting foreign
investment for science and technology, offering business consulting
and providing overall and highly qualified services for R&D
and the transference of Hi-tech industry as well as conducting international
projects.
